Whether you’re obsessed with skin care and primping or you’re just the average dude next door, foot care is an absolute must in my books ← the plural is intended for I have a lot of rules and standards that would make this world a better place!
The number one foot flaw I see during the warmer months is dry, cracked heels and since the colder months are upon us we can go full force into prevention mode. The technical term for this foot condition is Xeorosis and although most of us may think this condition is purely a cosmetic one, it is actually prevalent in people with diabetes.

PREVENTION
After shower, coat feet in thin layer of Vaseline and cover with socks overnight; Use a pumice stone daily to cleanse, exfoliate and reduce the appearance of dry heels; Place medicated herbal balm of clean heels before bed; Chop fresh parsley and add to foot bath for added antibacterial and circulation properties; Place 1 cup of vinegar in a basin of water; soak feet for 20 minutes
Everyone can benefit from a little self TLC. The prevention and treatment options are flexible and I’m sure each of you will easily find the solution that suits your needs to put your best foot forward. ~DEENA
