The first fact in my “Betcha Didn’t Know” series details negative side effects that come shortly after having an orgasm.
Yawning or Sneezing
Don’t feel embarrassed or insulted if your partner yawns or sneezes during sexual activity. Doctors have proven that centers in the brain responsible for orgasms, yawning and sneezing are parallel to one another. That’s right my G.O.Ps: Yawning or sneezing may be another tangible form of arousal.
Some individuals can have severe headaches, or migraines, after having an orgasm. This could be a direct result of exciting the nervous system during sexual activity and reduced blood flow to the brain. For some individuals with a vasodilating medication may be required or medication used to relieve migraines. If your symptoms are not so severe, a hot shower and a cup of nerve relaxing chamomile may do the trick.
Abdominal Pain
Abdominal pain after intercourse can be a symptom of a prostate infection. For the average male it’s usually a result of intense contractions that occur in the pelvic floor (lower abdomen) after an orgasm. Exercises for the pelvis, like Kegels, can help strengthen those muscles and reduce overall muscle spasms in the area. Be sure to check with your doctor to ensure abdominal pain after intercourse is not a sign of a more serious issue like an infection.
Be honest my G.O.Ps, did you guys know that?
Happy Friday
