Grapefruit Weather

The weather is changing for the best and heading out with the crew is on everyone’s mind. Looking good, smelling sexual and putting your best foot forward is top priority. It goes without saying that having a quick handy drink to heighten the feeling is needed. Grapefruits are one of my favorite fruits and as soon as I saw this commemorative Absolut cocktail by Swedish House Mafia. I just had to highlight it and take it up under my wing. A simple drink with a grapefruit taste is hard to pass up in my book. Unique and Absolut indeed once you try it will definitely be in your recipe book for revisiting.

Absolut Greyhound Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

1 part Absolut Vodka

3 part Pink Grapefruit Juice

1 Grapefruit wedge

Simply add all ingredients over the rocks and garnish.  Add the grapefruit garnish to top it off.

Absolutly Inspired!

After the premier of the new season of Ru Paul drag race, I felt “absolutly inspired” to pick up a bottle of Absolut Vodka. Maybe it was because of the punch lines that were in the commercial or the constant brand naming that was in the show. To be honest, I have to chalk it up to the fact that I haven’t picked up a bottle of Absolute in a while. So after it was thrown in my head I had to follow up with a drink and express my absolute inspiration.

After I scoured the site for my inspirational drink, I came across the White Cosmopolitan. This drink is a variation of New York’s signature drink thanks to Sex and the City. Easy to make with no effort and the result is Absolut bliss. A combination of sweet and sour fruits and is a perfect cocktail choice of for 6:00pm drinks.

White Cosmopolitan

Ingredients:

  • Absolut Citron
  • White Cranberry Juice
  • Lime Juice
  • Triple Sec
  • Orange Garnish

Fill the shaker with ice and then add all the ingredients. After shaking, you’re going to strain into a cocktail glass. Top this drink off an orange garnish.

Simple. Easy. Inspiring!

Apples & Pears Champagne

Finally, Thanksgiving is upon us. One of my favorite holidays because you can stuff your face and not be ashamed! From cranberry sauce to baked macaroni and cheese, I’m going to be ready! However, when it comes to my beverage of choice, it’s going to be a classy indulgence. It’s time to put a new spin on this annual tradition. Instead of washing back your thanksgiving feast with Kool-Aid or Soda. Here is a pre/after-dinner swill on this Thanksgiving. It’s time to pull down the champagne glasses and pop the bubbly.

Apples and Pears
Ingredients:

  • Absolut Pear
  • Champagne
  • Apple Juice

Instructions:

Simply add Absolut Pear Vodka and Apple Juice to your favorite choice of chilled champagne. Drink responsibly and enjoy ABSOLUTELY!!!
