Cardio Bites Man! But We Need It

Plain old cardiovascular activities can be unbearably boring. Ever watch someone walking on a treadmill for an hour? It hurts to even picture that in my mind! With my clients, I build in their cardio in between weight lifting so they don’t even know they’re doing it. Now, this article isn’t about how to do that (I’ll save that for a later post) but this article is about what types of music can get you going during an intense bout of heart healthy exercise.

Cardio can be very mundane when you’re in a cramped up gym with dim lighting and music that is barely audible. Try going for a fast-paced walk outside and progress to a steady paced jog. Even better, gather up a group of friends and blast these songs during a game of Chinese baseball, dodgeball, volleyball, or good old “get the ball”!
